“美国亚裔文学研究丛书”是国内第一套最为完整的“美国亚裔文学”方面的系列丛书，由文学史、文学作品选、文学评论集、学术论著等组成。

《美国西亚裔文学作品选》精选了35位美国西亚裔作家的作品，主要收录了黎巴嫩裔、叙利亚裔、伊朗裔、巴勒斯坦裔、阿富汗裔、伊拉克裔、土耳其裔等代表作家的经典作品和新兴作家的代表作品。作品选分为作者简介和作品选读两部分，选读部分一般选取的是每位作家的一至三部代表作品的节选，包括了多种体裁，如自传、小说、诗歌和散文等；作者简介提供作家的个人基本信息、创作经历、代表作和作品简要点评。我们希望帮助读者尽快了解作家及所选作品的中心思想与主要内容。

郭英剑，中国人民大学“杰出学者”特聘教授，外国语学院教授（二级）、博士生导师。现任中国人民大学首都发展与战略研究院副院长。从2001到2020年，历任郑州大学外语学院副院长、常务副院长、中央民族大学外国语学院院长、中国人民大学外国语学院院长。主要从事英美文学、文学翻译、英语教育与高等教育研究。
国务院第八届外语学科评议组成员、教育部高校英语专业教学指导分委员会委员、享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家、国家首批“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选、全国模范教师。国家社科重大规划项目首席专家。
