徐冬，男，博士，副研究员，硕士生导师，北京科技大学“北科青年学者”。从事基于机器视觉的冶金流程测控技术，激光超声、激光散斑等无损检测技术，板带轧制过程力学行为与板形自动控制等相关领域研究。先后主持及参与重点研发计划、科技支撑计划、国家自然基金等国家级项目10余项，企业项目20余项，发表论文50余篇，获发明专利20余项。成功开发了基于机器视觉的热轧全流程非对称测控系统，基于激光雷达的库区环境感知系统，为宝武、鞍钢、首钢等大型钢铁企业解决产线智能化无人化升级技术难题，取得了显著经济效益和社会效益。曾获得冶金科技进步奖一等奖2项，泰山钢铁优秀教师等荣誉。
