数十年来，语音意识一直是教育心理学、心理语言学、元语言学等领域的一个研究热点。语音意识的高低成为区别阅读能力强弱的一个重要指标，语音意识与阅读能力的关系成为近年来阅读习得领域最重要的发现之一。语音意识训练研究对促进儿童阅读能力的提高和预防阅读障碍起了非常重要的作用。然而，对于在象形文字环境中学习英语的学生来说，语音意识的发展对英语学习所起的作用却很少受到关注（Jiang等, 2023）。
朱冰霞，广东金融学院教师。一直致力于英语教学，主要研究方向为英语教学法、外语教师发展研究，先后在国内省级刊物及国际期刊上发表多篇论文，主持或参与多项国家社科、省部级多项课题。
